Electronic Payslips and suitable accommodation

Post by sofiagreat » Wed Jan 04, 2017 7:34 am

I am a teacher in permanent employment earning £30,000. My payslips are sent electronically. I have to log into a online portal to download my payslips and print them off.
Would they be acceptable for spouse settlement visa application? Any advice on how to meet this requirement.
I want to apply under category A, 6-month continuous employment.

I am living with a friend, in a 4-bedroom house which she is renting privately from a landlord. I have my own huge bedroom and attached bathroom. I am paying her rent for the room directly. I didn’t ask for any agreement yet. I know the landlord of the property; he is a good man. She is a divorced mum of 3 kids and children stay in the property for 15 days then they go to dad's house for next 15 days.
None of the bills are in my name.

How can I meet accommodation requirement?

As you are not renting your own property, you will require a property inspection report and likely a letter from your 'friend' or the landlord stating you have permission to stay there as you have no tenancy or lodger agreement.

Thank you for the reply.

Who can do the property inspection report?

If I am given the tenancy agreement for a year by my friend for the room, then what else do I need?
Do I need a letter of permission as well?
Does this letter should contain the name of my spouse that he has permission to stay with me?

I don't believe that a tenancy agreement issued by your friend will be acceptable as she is not the landlord and would be 'sub-letting'. You will need written permission from the landlord for your spouse to live with you in the property.

Your local Council may provide a property inspection report, or an Estate Agent for a fee.
(Casa, not CR001)
