30 day vignette validity dates

Post by Kelldo » Wed Jan 04, 2017 1:16 pm

Hello,

I have been approved for a Tier 5 (Youth Mobility Scheme) visa, and the 30 day UK entry clearance sticker that is now in my passport states the "valid to" date as 9 February 2017. I am trying to determine if the expiry date that is stated on the entry clearance is INCLUSIVE, or, EXCLUSIVE of that stated date.

Due to circumstances beyond my control my flight now arrives in London (Heathrow airport) on 9 February 2017 at 0515 in the morning, meaning that my passport will be stamped by an entry clearance officer will stamp the entry clearance vignette dated 9 February 2017.

Can anyone please advise if arriving on 9 February 2017 will affect the ability to then collect my Biometric Residence Permit once it is checked at the post office? Or, will I need to apply for an extension to my visa?

Any assistance will be greatly appreciated.
Kelly

It is INCLUSIVE, ie. you can arrive in the UK at any point during the validity up to and including 9th Feb.
