My partners visa got refused after we had our court date on December the 5th. I was born and bred in the UK and he's been here 12 years after coming from Pakistan. There was a gap in his 10 year residency so did not meet the requirements for the visa and was also refused for human rights. The judge basically said she thought our relationship was fake in her decision letter, nd we was together for no more than the sake of his immigration status. I'm so heart broken, times have been so tough recently because we're living in a shared house with his friends and he's not got the right to work, I've been having to pay for two adults off a crap wage and we was planning to get our own flat together once he could go back to work. I haven't stopped crying since we got the decision, I haven't got any friends and when I say any I mean NONE he is everything to me we've only been together for two years but we're so close. If he has to go back I'll be so ill. I Have a very long history with mental health and worried what it would do to me. It's got me so angry because it's not fake it's our lives they're messing up. He has the right to appeal but what difference will there be ? What would another judge see differently? I haven't been at work since I found out as I just can't stop randomly crying when I think about it. She basically said that i will easily move on but when I've had problems like I do in life it's not that simple. Sorry this post is so long and a lot of it irrelevant I just haven't got anyone to talk to about it. Has anyone been refused and then accepted at an appeal? PS in the refusal letter the judge got a lot of stuff wrong like dates I moved in here, dates we had joined our bank account last year, witness Statement wrong
