Multiple Tier-2 applications

As a follow up to this question, please can I ask a related question? What if one currently holds a tier 2 visa with sponsor 'A' and would be applying to renew the visa as employment contract is being extended for another 6 months, but also has a 24 month job offer with sponsor 'B' that commences at the end of the 6 months period. Can one apply for the tier 2 visas at the same time to cover the 30months (6+24) or does one have to apply separately at the end of the 6 months with first sponsor?
My second question is how long must a job contract be to be eligible for a tier 2 sponsorship/visa?

I have split your post to its own topic. Please refrain from digging up threads/topics that are 4 years old.

You need to apply for either 2 years, 3 years or more than 3 years. Not 6 months.

You cannot apply for two Tier 2 visas with different sponsors at the same time.
