FLR(M) processing time

I submitted an application by post for extension of spouse visa (5-year route) on 7 Dec, and now it's nearly 5 weeks. Although it's offically said decision would be made within 8 weeks, how likely shall I be able to get the result in 5, 6 or 7 weeks?

Is there a UKVI document or webpage showing the percentage of applications decided in 5, 6 or 7 weeks?

Or does anyone in the forum have previous experience and would be pleased to share your waiting time?

Very likely there will be a delay given that you applied in December, where there were many bank holidays and staff holidays.

Nothing, as the 8 weeks is only a guideline as you will have seen from the timeline thread.

After 8 weeks. Otherwise, they will just tell you to wait until 8 weeks when you phone them.

You won't have to wait indefinite length of time. Because indefinite length is too too long, could be millions of years, and I am pretty sure you will not live that long.
