Need to know regarding Investment

Post by IMF » Wed Jan 11, 2017 6:28 pm

Hi Sir,

I am in UK on Tier 1 (Entrepreneur) Visa Since June 2015 and established company in UK since Sep 2015. Already doing some trading business (import and export). To full fill investment of GBP 200,000, I am planning to invest GBP 150,000 in running business of burger shop in which GBP 100,000 will investment and 50,000 will be good goodwill and to run this business I will give 50% Share holding to the person leaving in UK on ILR and will run my this business (I have no experience in this work).

I need to know below points so I can move forward.

a) As per home office in this visa category can I do investment in burger shop business?

b) For applying extension this investment will be treat GBP 150,000 or GBP 100,000?

c) As my partner is not investing any amount but he will be 50% share holder so in this situation my investment will consider as 100% for home office when I apply for extension or this will treat as 50%?

Thanks

Nothing stops you

Read the guide PLEASE. Goodwill is excluded from your investments. I repeat AGAIN, READ THE GUIDE. Almost ALL the refusals reported here are because the applicants do NOT read the guide. I cannot stress enough "Read the guide" :!:
c) As my partner is not investing any amount but he will be 50% share holder so in this situation my investment will consider as 100% for home office when I apply for extension or this will treat as 50%?
You share percentage does not determine your investments. It is irrelevant that you own 50% or 70% or whatever. You need to inject the money in the business but expenditure on certain things are excluded from acceptable investment. Reading the guide, as I emphasised before is really really important !!
Advice is given based on my personal research and experience only. Do NOT contact me via private message for immigration advice
