British Parents South African Child

Post by mjames13 » Thu Jan 12, 2017 6:32 am

Good Day

I have a question regarding my child. My wife and I were both born in South Africa but we both have british passports through our parents. our child does not qualify for one as he is the second generation born here.

Would i be able to get ILTR for him if he goes over on a 6 month visitor visa ?
Thank you

Probably difficult, as visitors are normally prevented from switching into another category.

However, they should grant him ILE, if he is sucessful in applying for a settlement visa.
