MN1 through NCS

I am planning to apply for my son Naturalisation using MN1 via NCS .Do i need to apply for his passport application at same time as well? if yes then i have to fill passport form before hand as well? and who will post the application council or myself?

Bit confused about the process .

.Do i need to apply for his passport application at same time as well? Your choice if you want to but you don't have to.

if yes then i have to fill passport form before hand as well? Yes, the one from the Post Office and who will post the application council or myself? NCS
