Unabridged birth certificate vs Vault certificate

Post by leedarwent » Wed Jan 18, 2017 11:15 am

Hi I am applying for my Leave to remain after 5 years in the UK, on an ancestral VISA.

The form requires your birth certificate with parents names.
As I am trying to get this from South Africa where I was born, the option is for either the unabridged certificate or a certified copy of the birth register (vault copy).
Which would be the correct form to send for?

Thank you!!

Surely you have this from when you originally applied for your Ancestry visa?

Either one is fine to apply for, I submitted both.
