British citizenship application = perfect employment past?

Post by Marchal » Wed Jan 18, 2017 4:24 pm

I would like to know if my CV has to be 'spotless' to be eligible for British citizenship? I haven't always been employed, I have had part-time jobs, etc...

Thanks for your tips!

No, it does not.

Do you have a document certifying permanent residence?
Char (CR001 not Casa)

Employment is not a requirement for naturalisation. Stay-at-home housewives get naturalised too :D

What is required is good character, one aspect of which is not having worked illegally or having worked more than a certain number of hours if that was a condition of your visa (not applicable to you).
