Docs for Tier 2 if changing sponsor

Hi...
My employers sponsorship is probably going to be revoked as the the employer has informed us and asked us to look for other jobs. So i am changing my sponsor and will be applying for Tier 2 from within UK with new COS. It says on the website that "you won’t need to send evidence in support of your application if you’ve sent it for a previous Tier 2 application". Is that the case? Does that mean i do not even have to send a bank statement??

Hoping someone can help me with this as i do have very short time frame.

Just to confirm again, if i am changing my sponsor (because my current sponsors licence is being revoked) and reapplying for Tier 2G, i don't need to show any bank statements? No evidence of funds?
2- what other documents do i have to provide?
3- what documents do i need to provide for my wife? she is with me in the UK on the Tier 2 dependent visa.
