child benefit query

i am ILR holder on basis of (set LR), my wife is pbs dependent going to switch to FLR M in few months,
my child born in india
can i claim child benefit for her or not?? plz advise will that be classified as recourse to pub fund and can be problem for further extensions..her brp sys .. no recorse to pF..

You can claim child benefit as you have ILR. It is NOT children that claim but the parent.

as per ur advise, i have successfully applied for CB.

Can i also apply for child tax credit?

If you qualify, yes you can apply for child tax credits but this MUST be claimed in JOINT names with your spouse.
