Is it possible to change travel date?

I have Tier 2 (General) long term visa which is valid from 31 Jan to 1 March.
It is not possible for me to travel in between this 30 days of validity period and I want to travel by 1 April. Moreover my CoS will be expire by 13th March.

Question:
is it possible to extend the period of visa validity ?
if Yes, then can someone please let me know the process to apply for it?
