UK Home Office Subject Access Request

Hi,

I would like to make a Subjects Access Request to the UK Home office. I would like to know if I am banned from travelling to any countries. e.g. I made recent ESTA application for U.S. It got denied and it suggested me to apply for a Visa.

So I do not want to waste my time and money on a US Visa application if I am going to be denied anyway.

Does anyone know if a Subject Access Request will tell me if I am not allowed to travel to the U.S.? or any other country?

Do you hold any other nationality beside British? Were you born abroad and if so where?

SAR won't necessarily tell you that as a SAR is for UK immigration stuff. Whether you are banned or restricted from traveling to other countries depends on countries you wish to visit.

I'm British Citizen. Born in UK, and have no other nationalities/passports.

You can be denied just because your name is similar to someone else's. Happened to a colleague of mine.
That won't show up in a UK SAR.
