am I entitled for British Citizenship

Hello,

My friend came from India on a spouse visa in 2013 and unfortunately they got separated and she got an indefinite leave to remain in 2014.

My question is, when can she apply for a British passport?

Please Help and advise.

If she got ILR in 2014 and provided she meets the absence requirements, she can apply now for British citizenship.

How did she get ILR one year after coming on a spouse visa?

She needs 5 years residence to qualify for British citizenship. A passport application is separate to applying for citizenship.

I missed the part about the friend only coming to the UK in 2013. She may have got ILR under the DV provisions.

If she only came into the UK in 2013, the earliest she can apply for citizenship is five years after her entry into the UK.
