hi there
I am planning to apply for standard visit visa for my widowed mother to visit me for about 4 months. I am a British citizen so as my wife and children.
firstly I am planning to sponsor her for full trip as she doesn't have any income in India. We (i.e me and my brother who lives in Dubai support her monthly expenditures in India).
Could you please help me with completing following questions:
Employment
What is your employment status? I have selected as Unemployed
Do you have another income or any savings? so I have selected as " I do not have any other income or savings
How much money are you planning to spend on your visit to the UK? should i put £2000 including flights ticket for 4 months?
What is the total money you spent each month? is this questing refers to expense in India or UK? if so how much should i put?
Why are they helping you for your visit? should i say --my son is sponsoring my visit to UK to spend time with him and grandchildren's.
I am planning to include following supporting documents
My & my wife passport copy
My 6 months payslips and bank statement showing roughly £3,000 savings for last 6 months/
rental agreement
sponsorship letter from me.
Covering letter from my mother
My mother passport old and new.
My older brother passport copy and employment card in Dubai
My younger brother Indian passport copy
Do you think should i include anything else. from my mother she doesn't any other documents.
Thank you for your help in advance.

What is she submitting to prove her personal and financial circumstances in her home country and what ties she has to convince the ECO that she will leave the UK?
If she doesn't have anything and has no income, she likely stands very little chance of getting a visa.

Thank you for your comments!
My self and my brother support her financially in India. (i.e my brother sends money from UAE and I transfer fund from UK). Should I show both of these as income in India under "family gives money"! or should I only show my brother money transfer receipt. should i also need to show her bank statement, although for the past 6 months she is living with my brother in UAE hence he has not transfer any money to her account other than he is going to transfer shortly and I am planning to apply for visa in beginning of March. so last 6 months she has hardly any savings in her account.
I have put her annual income as £3500 and her monthly expense as £200 in India.
I am intending her to invite for 4 months should I put total expenses I will sponsor as £2500? is that enough? If i transfer £500 to her account and say I have transferred this for travel expenses will that help.
Finally she has land in her name which has a market value of roughly 3 lakh rupees (i.e £3300) however the documents only shown as 67,000 rupees (£800) back in 2013. should Include this documents as land property and quote the figure in cover letter.
Any thought on this will really be appreciated.
Thanks in advance.

4 months is too long, 4 weeks would be pushing it.
