DLA Application?

Good evening,

I have read up on the application process as well as the actual application of fiance visa and spouse visa. The only thing is that my fiance is registered for DLA and we are not sure how it works. We were wondering if you could help. Because of the DLA, my fiance is exempt from the financial requirements through this and we are not sure if we need to fill out a different application from this :https://www.gov.uk/government/uploads/s ... /VAF4A.pdf

My fiance and I have also looking into the spouse visa. For it would be easier to get married within the States (where I reside) rather than have to payout the money for the fiance visa and get married in the UK. But I am not quite sure if the DLA changes anything with that.

To be completely honest, we know nothing about the DLA application process and are very much hoping you could help.
