Applying PR for my son

Post by matimm » Wed Feb 08, 2017 8:45 pm

Hi,

Me and my wife got our british citizenship. We had not applied for Permanant residency for our son as he still has is dependent visa valid. Now, I would like to apply for PR for my son.

Which form should I fill in? Is it Set(F) or Set (o).

My son is 4 years old.

Matt

Is that the only form that needs to be filled in? The set(f) form has very little information being asked about the sponsor.

You only need to submit evidence of your ILR. You are technically not a 'sponsor'.

On what basis did you and your spouse apply for ILR? (PR is the EEA/EU term, please use ILR instead to avoid confusion)

Why didn't you apply for the child at the same time as the family?

My spouse and I received ILR since we have been in Tire1 for over 5 years.

We thought, we will take British Citizenship directly rather than taking ILR for my son.

Whichever form your use, child is main applicant. Very little required to send with form.
