My daughter born in uk but have different passport

Post by mirza82 » Sun Feb 12, 2017 11:55 am

Hi

I need help please.

I am currently on Tier 2 visa and my ILR is due in next couple of months.

Question: My daughter born in UK and she got Pakistani passport because we travelled to Pakistan for few weeks. Now, question is can I apply for Neutralisation (MN1) for my daughter once I will get my ILR or Do I have to apply for ILR for my daughter as well.

If I have to apply for ILR for my daughter then when can I do this. I mean can I apply along with my ILR application or I have to wait for my daughter to be as my depended for five years.

Please ask me if you need more clarification.

Kind Regards

A child born in the UK is entitled to register as BC under section 1(3) of the BNA once either parent is granted ILR. The child DOES NOT need to apply for ILR to register.
