february days and hours count

Post by msree » Fri Feb 10, 2017 10:13 am

Hi,

pre transitional period(pre april 2014), tier 1 extension

If someone started the employment from 1st September to 28th February, will this be counted as complete 6 months?

Because when we count as per days 6months should have 182 days.

If we count September 1st to February 28th there are only 181days.

So how this situation is considered as the complete six months or less one day for six months?

please help.

Start date of employee on FPS

Post by msree » Fri Feb 10, 2017 11:51 am

Hi
In the FPS the start date of employee should be as per when the employee started or like default taxation month i.e. 6th of that particular month?

Are there any FPS where the start date shows the real date of the employee started I.e if a employee started in 1st then can the payroll software capture 1st as the start date in fps?

Is that fine if the start date is shown as 1st instead of 6th?
Coz 6th is the start date every payroll captures?

Please advice

Starting date has NOTHING to do with payroll tax payment deadlines !!

Thanks for the response Zimba

Actually the question is like start date in FPS is what date? The actual start date of employee or the 06th of that particular month?

E.g. If an employee joins on 1st Jan can FPS have1st Jan as start date? Or it has to be 6th Jan
Which one is considered as the correct one

Again, it is the ACTUAL starting date of an employee NOT any of the deadlines

Thanks for your quick response Zimba

That's really a relief to hear

So we can put 1st Jan as start date in moneysoft software?

It's not a problem right?

Providing contracts and invoices to extension application

Post by msree » Sun Feb 12, 2017 6:59 pm

Hi All,

We are about to drop our extension application

In the guidelines it's not mandatory to provide the invoices and contracts
But if we submit the contracts and invoices how will it be?
Does providing them makes the file stronger?
Please Suggest.

It is not necessary to start a new topic with each question on the same application. Keep your posts/queries in ONE topic/thread (this one).
