ILR after 6 years Discretionary Leave

Post by Herbie » Sun Feb 12, 2017 8:19 pm

Hi there i need some information desperately ,i'm very grateful for any advice.

2007-2009 spouse visa
2009-2011 spouse visa extension
2012-2015 discretionary leave ,section 8 family life
2015-2018 discretionary leave ,section 8 family life

Spouse passport expired in 2016,spouse has Brp.
Indian high comission outsourced passport renewals and they dont accept post applications with no nearby centres. With partners ill health its impossible to go for renewal so when i apply for ilr using set O can i send in expired passport ,brp and covering letter?

Is 6 year discretionary best way to go or 10 year spouse?

Thanks

Couldn't find an edit button but the dates are wrong after a double check and should be as follows

2007-2009 spouse visa
2009-2011 spouse visa extension
2011-2014 discretionary leave section 8,family life
2014-2017 discretionary leave section 8 family life

So i will have to apply this year on form SET O
Thanks

A valid passport is required to apply for ILR. You will need to renew passport first.

To CR001:

With all due respect the member asked for help and CR001 gave the correct advice. They will first have to renew their passport as they will be unable to apply for ILR without it.

I note that you only joined two days ago :!: As you're not happy with the advice given on the forum after only 5 posts, would you like your membership to be de-activated?
(Casa, not CR001)
Please don't send me PMs asking for immigration advice on posts that are on the open forum. If I haven't responded there, it's because I don't have the answer. I'm a moderator, not a legal professional.
