1. 3 to 4 months r too much for visit someone (even the son) as ECO point of view. 4 to 6 weeks r reasonable.prat_123 wrote:Thanks for your prompt response.
1. Will you be stating in the form that she will be visiting for 3-4 months?
- Yes i will state that she will stay for 3-4 months maximum[/color].
2. Any account can be used and there is no minimum period etc to prove.
- Thanks. Can i show both my savings and current account? Savings will show the fund available whereas current account will show the monthly salary that i get.
3. What evidence will your mother provide to show her ties to India and her personal and financial circumstances? You sponsoring the entire visit unfortunately is not enough. She has to prove she has reason to leave the UK after her visit.
She takes care of her parents too. She has a house to take care of. It is still on my father's name although he passed away few years back. Will it cause problems if she shows the property details where she lives although the property is still on my father's name ?
She travels very frequently with her religious guru in India. I can provide some more evidences.
Could you please respond to the above ?
Thanks a lot.

Thanks for letting me know about this
2. ECO's r more interested to see your mother financial circumstances in INDIA. Even though u r sponsoring the whole trip still they want to see her economic ties and circumstances in INDIA.
She doesn't have enough money in her Bank accounts but she has good amount of money in fixed deposits in an indian bank which can easily cover her trip cost. She can also get a letter signed by the manager that the money is readily available. Will this work? We will also provide property paper on my father's name.
2.What is your mother source of income? They r more interested to see transactions in her bank account. What's coming in and going out? Like pension, rental income, any business generating income, other income giving by family and friends. if money giving by family and friends than also provide those family members source of income as evidences.
3. U need to explain all the ties and social circumstances with evidences to convince the ECO that she will go back after her visit.
How do we prove the social relations ? Does she need to get signed letters from relatives that they are very close to each other or something like that, supported by identity proofs? She will be undergoing a leg operation in India probably around Sept, can a letter from the hospital confirming that help? This is really challenging how to prove strong social relations in India. Is there any template for this?
Do u have brothers and sisters in India? if yes what r they doing? if in school or college get the letters from them. if they r working than get wageslips and employer letters to confirm their economic activities. Family photos can also help.
Do not mention any treatment. Eco might think that she is coming here for free NHS.
These days they r very strict about visit visas. So its your duty to convince ECO that your mom is a genuine visitor and she has more ties in her home country which would attract her to leave the UK at the end of her visit.
Could you please help ?
Thanks again for your prompt response.

Sure, no problem.CR001 wrote:It is not necessary to start a new topic with the same question you have already asked. When someone is available and willing to respond, I am sure they will.
These are questions that only you/mother would know.

Regarding the second question is there a minimum that we need to mention, for eg. "x" amount per day or per month?
Please could you help ?
Thanks

She has probably equivalent to £750 in her bank account. She has around £2000 cash in a fixed deposit which is readily accessible. She can get a letter from the bank that this cash is readily accessible.
She is planning to stay here for 8 weeks.
No i don't take any benefits.
Will the money that i have stated above help the cause or would you like to make changes there ?
Thanks

Hope your mom got the visa.
I am inviting my dad on UK visitor visa and can see you were also trying for your mum and grateful if you can clarify the following:
1.Is it possible to apply UK visitor visa from within UK for Indian parents based outside UK? if so, is there any website link you can provide please.
Not possible
2. Will there be any impact or question of leaving my mom alone in India? she is not keen to visit UK as she feels more isolated due to weather etc
No
Advance thanks.
