English Language requirement

Post by pt100 » Sat Feb 18, 2017 8:53 am

Hello

I am looking to apply for dependant visas for my wife and daughter. I have ILR since December 2015.

My wife has a couple of post graduate degrees delivered in English. We have degree certificates and transcripts for those. Will I need an English Language assessment from Naric as well?

I think yes, was just hoping not having to pay £55, if I didn't have to.

Kind regards,

P

Unless the degrees were awarded in the UK your wife will require a RED route NARIC ELA.

I think there is no escape from avoiding the fee relating to English language indirectly unless a UK obtained degree. Because hiring the NARIC service almost cost same as taking the IELTS test.
