No, there isn't, not for errors.1. Does anyone know if there is any way to have this correction change effected as a matter of urgency? Like am I able to attend a processing centre in London, or the greater London area?
Possibly, depends on what the error is and how big the error.2. What happens if I travel with the BRP containing the error and it is picked up at an immigration border? The photo and fingerprints match me, and I have some emails to show that I lodged "something" to the home office regarding an error on my BRP (the email doesn't specify exactly what I logged as being wrong). Would this be sufficient to be allowed back in to the UK on the working visa?
Correct, being admitted as a visitor, it is for max 6 months no work permitted and will likely override the tier 5 visa.3. If I end up having to return to the UK on a tourist visa (Australian passport), then I've heard that this "trumps" my working visa and that my permission to work here then becomes void and I won't be able to work here at all. Is this correct?
The error is the spelling of my middle name. It's supposed to have two N's but the BRP only has one.Possibly, depends on what the error is and how big the error.
Would it override the tier 5 visa forever? Like, make it completely null and void? Or would I be able to exit the UK and then return under the tier 5 visa once again after it is corrected?Correct, being admitted as a visitor, it is for max 6 months no work permitted and will likely override the tier 5 visa.
I did when I posted that comment! Sorry, Char. I have replied to you now!CR001 wrote:Did you miss my reply to your post
No, it's not. My surname is 6 letters, my first name 5 letters and my middle name (supposed to be) 6 letters.CR001 wrote:You risk losing your Tier 5 status if you are admitted as a tourist.
Is your second name very long perhaps? BRP cards have space constraints and names are often shortened etc.
