Becket house IS96 - Flr(hro) in progress

Post by Emmanuelll096 » Wed Mar 01, 2017 7:01 pm

Hi guys, I've got a dilemma here, Long story short my visa expired august 2016 of which o made an income application for an extension using the then flr(o) form, due to a mistake the NHS surcharge fee was not paid and my application was returned as invalid on the 30th of Jan. I am aware that there is a grace period to re-apply after invalid application which I did on the 16th Feb but received a letter on the 11th asking me to report to Becker house fortnightly, is this fair? as the is96 letter was issued before my grace period had even elapsed and also will I possibly get a refund for the initial application I made because the is96 has ordered me not to work, and I am struggling financially. Any insight will be appreciated many thanks

What grace period are you referring to?
Char (CR001 not Casa)

Simply put you are an overstayer, have no valid leave, no outstanding application and even if you do apply you would have no right to work while it is being considered.
The only difference is that you are now required to report to Becket House pending the outcome of any application.
The word fair does not come into it, you have no leave in the U.K.
