Dear Respected members and moderators,

I am back after pretty long time to seek your valuable advice towards Visa for my wife. I got British nationality last year.

I got married last year in November in India. My wife is an Indian. We knew each other from childhood but our relationship got more serious after my divorce from first wife. My queries are as below:-

1. Is the "family of a settled person visa" is the right type of visa that I need to apply for her to move with me in UK (the one has 33 moths duration and fee is about Rs.107550) or some other visa type ?

2. Are my last six months pay slips with bank statement suffice for £18600 threshold or do I have to include whole year's pay slips. My pay has increased to 30k since last year July only. I work hourly basis so I don't have a contract stating my yearly income.

3. She is a house wife and does not work since her graduation from year 2014, does it have any concern as far as her visa is concerned ?

4. Is there any premium service offered in India that can be used if I travel to India and apply in person with my wife?

5. I only have marriage photos, invitation card, marriage certificate, our wattsapp chat log since September last year, Call history snap shots, fb chat log do they look enough to include them along with application?

6. She is going to do IELTS test to meet english language requirement from approved test centre in India.

Please help me understand my queries. I shall be very grateful. Thank you.

Vinie

Yes, it is the only visa she can apply for. Please quote prices in ££. We are all from different parts of the world and don't all know the Rs rates etc.
2. Are my last six months pay slips with bank statement suffice for £18600 threshold or do I have to include whole year's pay slips. My pay has increased to 30k since last year July only. I work hourly basis so I don't have a contract stating my yearly income.
You need 6 months payslips and 6 months bank statements. If you have variable income, please note that HO will take the lowest figure of a single payslip to use for calculating the financial requirement.
3. She is a house wife and does not work since her graduation from year 2014, does it have any concern as far as her visa is concerned ?
Not an issue.
4. Is there any premium service offered in India that can be used if I travel to India and apply in person with my wife?
No. There is only a priority service, but members who have paid the few hundred ££ to use it have reported waiting weeks for a decision.
5. I only have marriage photos, invitation card, marriage certificate, our wattsapp chat log since September last year, Call history snap shots, fb chat log do they look enough to include them along with application?
Yes, you must prove that the relationship and subsisting marriage etc.

It is £1195 for the visa and £600 for the immigration health surcharge. Exchange rate fluctuations will differ per country.
