Tier 2 ICT to Tier 2 General Switch

Hi

I am currently on Tier 2 ICT and the SOC code is 2135. I am changing my job code due to promotion in the same company and the new job code which suits my job description is 2133 ( Support Manager)

Can my sponsor apply for Tier 2 General Visa / Cos with the new job code or should they apply for Tier 2 ICT only ?

I would like to know if I can switch to Tier 2 General if the job code is changing due to promotion ? Will UKBA accept it?

What is the job for 2136 or should we dig out the SOC list to look it up? Shortage occupation or not?

How long have you been on Tier 2 ICT, from what date and which category of ICT is it?

I have been granted Tier 2 (ICT ) Long Term - Migrant and arrived to the UK on Nov 2014.

Job Code 2133 -- IT Support Manager is the new job role

Current Role - Business Analsyt - Job Code 2135
New Role - IT Support Manager - Job Code 2133

You cannot apply for Tier 2 General as you will be subject to the 12 month cooling off period.

I am not sure regarding job role change on ICT.
