Hi
Apologies for long message, I have tried to cut it short as possible as i really need help around this.
I applied for my mother's UK Visit visa for 2 months as she is based in Pakistan.
In my sponsor letter i mentioned that I will maintain and accommodate her during her stay.
In refusal letter ECO stated - I am satisfied your sponsor is able to maintain and accommodate.
Reason for Refusal by ECO:
The Onus is also on you to qualify for entry based on your own circumstances and intention.
1. You have stated you are 'Unemployed, but earn PKR xxxx a year from a pension. However, your bank statement does not demonstrate your financial circumstances or that you are in receipt of regular Income.
2. I also note, that you have an account which was opened early Sept 2016 and PKR xxxxx was deposited in the account but your application does not demonstrate the origin of these funds which outweigh your stated income.
3. There has been no expenditure from the account, therefore it is unclear how you are supported in Pakistan. In absence of satisfactory documentation, I am not satisfied that your circumstances are as you have indicated.
The above points undermine the credibility of your application, i am not satisfied that you are genuinely seeking entry as a visitor or intend to leave the UK at the end of you visit.
Here are my questions
1 - Does my mother need to wait for a certain time to re-apply ?
2(a) - Shall i re-apply with same circumstances and explain how and when my mother receives her pension. i.e received in cash from a Post office - we can show this on a pension book.
2(b) - explain what is source of funds in the bank account? -
2(c)- For expenditure, can i say that she uses her pension for daily expenses as she lives with my brother and his family?
2 (d) - ECO made a mistake in his refusal the we applied for 2 weeks instead we had applied for 2 months. Can we challenge this in new application?
Your help will be really appreciated.
I look forward to your expert advice.
Thanks in advance.
