Company Status: In Administration

Post by Jack&Jill » Thu Mar 09, 2017 6:02 pm

Dear Immigrationboard Gurus/Experts,

Greetings.
I was working for the company X for the period of May 2015 to December 2016. I have not resigned/left my job. There was no reasonable warning given prior, no discussion, evaluation, or formal review/meeting was conducted but all of us sudden I received P45 from my employer. I have not received my salary dues for the period of October, November & December and I also not received my paternity pay. I have sent couple of emails asking for explanation. I have no response from my employer and I've decided to contact ACAS and explained about my situation. Thought of going Employment Tribunal for Unfair Dismissal, Redundancy Pay. Today I heard company went into administration.
1). Please advice me what is the next step I can take.?
2.) Do I get my salary dues and paternity pay?
3). Is that fair to go with ACAS following Employment Tribunal?
4). Or should I contact company administrators?

Please advice. Many thanks in advance.

Have you switched to a new sponsor and applied for a new tier 2 general visa within the 60 days of your previous employment ending?

Your questions aren't really immigration related but you can contact ACAS to take it further and the company administrators too.

You will get 1 week's statutory notice pay from the government since you only worked there less than 2 years. You can also claim unpaid holiday pay. To claim these, you need the case reference number from the administrators.
