Property survey letter

Hi i am applying for british spouse the property survey letter i need. Can i get it from any property agent aur are there any restrictions? I am a bit confused coz i went to one agent he said to ne i cant do it because i am not registered so can any one do it on there letter head or whats is it??? Please advice

Do you live in the property on your own, ie not a house/flat share, you occupy the entire property yourself?

Yes i have a tenancy aggreement its on my name

For the WHOLE property, ie only you?

Yes it is a one bed flat and m already living in it so my question was can i get a survey letter from any property agent?

You do not need a property inspection report then.

But it is a home office requirement it is mentioned in the guidence notes survey letter can i get it from any property agnet ?? Or is there some specific agents who can do it please advice me thanks

It is NOT a mandatory requirement. It is ONLY required when you do not have the whole property to yourself and you have to prove it is NOT overcrowded.
