Tier 2 general visa - changing jobs

Post by umasankark2006 » Sat Mar 11, 2017 10:31 pm

Hi,
I am sure these questions might have already asked and answered, but for my confirmation I am asking few questions which I have in my mind right now.

I am currently on tier 2 general 3 year visa working for Company A. If I find another job well before my current visa expires
1) Do I need to go back to my origin country and apply for visa and return to UK? Or I can apply for tier 2 general visa in UK itself?
2) If I get the new visa, should my dependent need to apply for new visa along with me or they can wait for current visa expires?
3) Do I need to pay the full IHS fee again or difference amount, how this will be taken care of?

Can I please ask the experts to respond quickly as this is very important to me right now.
Thanks in advance for your time.

You can apply to change sponsors WITHIN the UK.
2) If I get the new visa, should my dependent need to apply for new visa along with me or they can wait for current visa expires?
They can continue on their current visas and must extend before the visas expire.
3) Do I need to pay the full IHS fee again or difference amount, how this will be taken care of?
You need to pay the full IHS fee again.
