P60s and employer letter

Post by Coldwinter » Sun Mar 12, 2017 12:12 pm

Folks
I'm applying for naturalisation soon. My previous employer is unable to provide p60s prior to 2011. I have a refrence letter from them which was issued last year in april (after i finished my employment with them). Can i provide this as proof of employment as it has my start and finish dates? Also, is a year old letter acceptable or does it need to issued again?

Thanks

You need to simply list ALL your employment since arriving in the UK in the relevant section of the form.

P60's for the previous 5 years should suffice. Note that if applying through NCS, they often do not take these to submit.

Employer letter is not required as you appear to have gone through the Tier 2/ILR route.
