FLR(m) to SET(m)

Post by chibakun » Tue Mar 14, 2017 1:26 pm

My wife will be applying for SET(m) in Dec '17. The postal fee is £1875.
What if my wife has a baby in Nov '17, would our baby be a dependent and we would have to pay an
additional dependant fee of £1875? It doesn't sound right as the child would be born in the UK.

No, if you hold ILR or are British, the child is automatically British and does not require leave/visa to be in the UK.

The fee you quote is the current fee. Expect there will be a fee increase in April.

My wife has been on FLR(m) and we are going up to the 5 year mark. What is the next form/visa that we need to complete to give her ILR please?
