FLR M Document Check

Post by Ptho86 » Thu Mar 16, 2017 10:46 pm

Hi Guys

My wife and I are going tomorrow to the Visa centre to apply for an extension of her visa. This is what we have included in the application, can you advise if we are missing anything

List of Documents Included:

Marriage Certificate 12 pages - Including translation from the embassy
Birth Certificate 2 pages - Me and our Son born Jan 2017 in the UK (not applicant)
Applicant Pay Slips - 27 pages
Spouse Pay Slips - 8 pages including letter of authenticity on letter head
Correspondence to you and partner 32 pages - Water bills, Electric, Car insurance as named driver. (applicant)
Evidence where you and your child live 24 pages - Hospital Letter for baby and bank letter. I have included letters from my work, DVLA, pension and from the NHS addressed to me
Land Registry and Mortgage 23 pages - All in my name (not applicant)
Contract of Employment 16 pages - Both of our contracts of employment
My Correspondence - 35 pages - Council tax, pension, NHS, Credit Card other car
Bank statements for both joint and personal accounts
All our passports
Photos for applicant x 2 and spouse x1
English language test results

I have included a complete copy of all documents apart from bank statements, was going to call at the bank in the morning and ask them to print the last 3 years on all the accounts for us.

Are we missing anything??

Thanks for the help
Philip

When posting, especially about payslips and bank statements, it is not about how many pages you have but whether you have the required months evidence that HO want.

Big thanks for all the advise above!! We reduced the amount of documentation. We took with us 6 months of payslips for both of us and 12months of Statements.
Letters in both names were reduced to 12 dotted throughout the 2.5 years (Source: Credit cards Doctors letters, council tax etc)

We attended our premium service on Friday and waiting about 3hours. I am happy to advise my wife was approved and granted her visa extension. It was a very stressful few weeks in the build up and would recommend the premium service. I personally couldn't wait for an answer if we sent the application by post.

Really grateful for all the posts in the forum it really helped me with the application

Thats great new Congratualtions!

Thanks for sharing

I would just like to ask was the credit card letters joint names?
My problem is we live with my parents and don't have anything in our names except for 1 joint bank account and driving insurance
We have separate credit card bills and doctors letters
Would that be ok?

No Credit Card was just in my name.

Joint Names: Water, electric and bank account & car insurance with my wife as a named driver.
My Name: Credit Card, Doctors Letters, Car Insurance and Council Tax
Wife's Name: Personal Bank account, Letters from work, Doctors letters and we kept the letters from when she got her national insurance card.

As long as you both have correspondence going to the same address you will be fine. If you don't have any letters from the Doctors pop in and ask them for a letter to confirm you are a patient with your address on.
