Can I apply my visa separate than my dependents?

Post by advisepoint » Sat Mar 18, 2017 10:32 pm

Hi There. Let me appreciate the community here which take care of so many individuals looking for help.

I am on Tier 2 visa and about to change my sponsor with new employer (new CoS) and thinking of using priority service. I have two dependents and our previous tier 2 visa will expire in October 2017.

I am wondering if I can apply through priority service and then latter apply for my two dependents via normal post application process?. (it will save my almost £1000).

Please let me know if you have experienced this issue in the past. I have read somewhere that if I change my visa then my dependents have to change it same time.

Thanks for your comments in advance.

Yes you can apply for them later. They must apply to extend their visa before their current visa expires.
