10 years route ILR - Questions

Post by apolo654 » Thu Mar 23, 2017 9:04 am

Im sorry if I comment in the wrong forum.

I am thinking to apply for 10 years long residency. My situation is that I entered the UK on student visa on 2006 and in 2012 got refuse for Post Study Work visa due to insufficient funds in my bank. I appealed the refusal and got rejected again.
Right after this process I applied for asylum and my application for asylum was successful and in Nov 2012 I was granted the five years refugee leave which is due to expire in Nov 2017.

During my psw appeal process and when I rejected and applied for asylum I never overstayed and the submission of all the applications was during the defined period so didnt break any laws and didnt overstay.

Now my question is can I apply for long term residency on this basis or is it better if I stay until November and apply for ILR set P (Protectio Route) instead?

I appreciate your response.

Thanks

I have split your post to its own topic (this one). It is considered rude to tag your questions onto another members thread.
