Can I switch from flr(fp)/flr(O) to tier1 entrepreneur?

Hi,
I have currently flr(O)pending application with ukba. I want to switch from my current status to Tier1. Can i do that? if yes, What are the additional requirements apart from general applicant?

You probably have to applied from home country as you do not hold a category of visa that permits switching.

I came here in UK on April 2011 as tier4 general visa.
I applied for extension in 2014. application got rejected. i went for appeal and won it.
In 2016 I had no choice but to apply for flr category which i did.

2.Do you have access to £200k and a viable business plan?
I have access to £50k venture capitalist money with solid business plan.

Can I not apply within uk? I know a friend of friend who was in similar situation able to successfully applied for tier1 category.

You don't have a qualifying visa to switch into this category from my understanding. If you were on Tier 4, probably no issue. You also don't hold a qualifying visa to use the £50k route as far as I can understand from HO's website. https://www.gov.uk/tier-1-entrepreneur/ ... ment-funds

Why did you apply for FLR(O) and on what basis?

Someone who had a 'similar' case is not helpful to anyone. Each persons circumstances are different.

I applied flr because i had 60 days letter to find new education sponsor which i couldn't do it due to gap in my study years(I was studying and college got closed down took admission in another college same thing happened). I applied flr on basis of mainly human rights due to religious discrimination.

Your FLR has no basis as far as I can see and very likely will be refused soon. You can vary your application to Tier 1E initial if you have access to 200K or can secure 50K from UKTI or the government or a seed fund. Read the Tier 1E official guide.
