Post by londoners » Tue Mar 28, 2017 8:39 pm

Hi,

My husband is gonna apply for indefinite visa because he has lived in the UK for 10 years.
my question is that can i apply to settlement? we got married on March 2015 and after that i got join parner visa. i have been living in the UK 2 years with my husband. He will apply for settlement from 10 years Long Residence. i know that he can not add me on his application form but at least i want to know, can i apply for settlement after he has settlement in the UK?

No, you cannot apply for settlement (ILR). Your only option is to apply to switch to FLR(M) meeting ALL the requirements (Financial and English A2).
