Worried about switching to a new Tier 2 Sponsor

Hi All,

Could you please let me know what will happen to the status of my current leave to remain in Tier 2 General with an existing employer if the Tier 2 visa with the new sponsor gets rejected? Will I get back my old BRP and can I still continue working with my existing employer if I haven't told them about my attempt to switch? Will UKBA curtail my visa with the existing employer as well? Please suggest. Many thanks in advance.

No effect and your current employer won't know anything about it unless you tell them.

Yes, it should be returned with all your documents.

Yup, don't worry. I got a Tier 2 visa rejected trying to switch my job before, it feels really scary because of the way they 'word' the rejection documents, but its fine. I continued working with my original sponsor as normal, and they returned all my documents to me.
