ILR

Post by aastha » Fri Mar 31, 2017 12:15 pm

Hi,
I am living in UK from past 5 years on Tier2 general visa.
First 3 years I was on Tier 2 dependant visa. I was dependant on my husband.
Next 2 years my husband was on tier 2 dependant visa and I was the main applicant as my company got ready to sponsor me.
Will I be eligible to apply for ILR.
Thanks

No you are not eligible for ILR. You need 5 years as Tier 2 General to qualify for ILR or you need 5 years as Tier 2 Dependent to qualify for ILR. You cannot combine the two visas to make up 5 years for ILR.
