Visa advice needed for Newborn

Hi

My wife and I are having a baby in a month and will be applying for an Indian Passport at the embassy here. She plans to travel to India in July with the baby and will be there for 6 weeks. We are here on her Tier II ICT visa on which I am the dependant. A few questions on the visa process:

- How do I apply for a dependant visa for my baby?
- How much time does it take and what is the cost?
- Does it make better sense to apply in the UK or in India?
- Will the baby be allowed to leave the UK without a reentry visa?

Should not be an issue to leave the UK.
