Can I change from Tier 2 ICT ST to ICT dependent visa?

Hi,

I am currently working on Tier 2 ICT short term visa and my visa expires in July 2017, however my spouse is also working on same Tier 2 ICT short term visa where as her visa expires in Jan 2018.
Can any of the experts answer below queries of mine:

1) Can I change to ICT dependent visa after July 2017? If yes can I work in UK on dependent visa?

2) So If the above answer is yes, then can I apply for Tier 2 general visa (if I manage to find a sponsor) in Jan 2018 when my spouse visa expires?

Yes and yes.

You will be subject to the 12 month cooling off period and that only starts from the date your dependent visa is issued. You would have to apply for Tier 2 G from home country.

one more thing can i go back to home country before completing my ICT short term and raise a dependent visa? i.e. though my visa expires in july 2017 can I go back and apply in May 2017?

You can go back whenever you want to, also depends on your employer. But you DO NOT have to apply from home country, you can apply within the UK.
