Spouse Visa Financial Requirement

Post by Infofreak » Mon Apr 03, 2017 9:35 pm

Hello everybody!! Hope someone can help me answer some queries regarding the financial requirements.

I am on a gross salary of £18800 per year. I started working at a company which is newly established and mid way they struggled to pay me on time. I was planning to apply for my partners visa as a spouse this May 2017 but due to the irregular pay, I am not sure now.

My question is- Will the salary that has been paid into my account (which is in bits and bobs) be totaled up at the end of the 6 month period to qualify for the salary? or does this have to be the exact amount as in the payslip?

I can provide a letter from the employer stating why the irregular pay.

Your help would be much appreciated.

Suggest list the dates of all the salary credit payments you received.

What should your normal monthly salary be then?

I was supposed to be paid £1338 every month. But instead was paid as follows:

Nov- £335 +£335
Dec- £400
Jan- £336
Feb- £250 +£1000
March- £500 +£360 +1000(cash)
April- £2500 and april's pay will be paid at the end of the month

I can support this by a letter from the employer stating why the irregular pay.

£1338 is this after tax?

What do your payslips say?

Was all the 'cash' amount you were paid deposited into your bank account

A letter explaining the company is struggling will cast doubt on your 'ongoing employment'. You need 6 months of regular pay that is the same, especially given that many applications overseas have been put on hold after the recent supreme court judgement on the financial requirement.

My pay slip say my take home pay should be £1338 (after tax) every month.
All cash amount was deposited into my bank account.

So you say i better not risk it?

Risky if your bank statements vary so hugely from what your payslips say.
