Tier 2-General_Dependants_queries

Post by Simtha » Wed Apr 05, 2017 12:10 pm

Hello people,

I'm going to get married in month may, my fiance is working in Uk (dependent visa) and going to process our visa once we are done with our marriage . We are maintaining sum of Rs.200000 (£2400) for past 60 days (from feb) and I am holding Rs.70000 (£800) and he is holding the rest. Unfortunately there was a shortfall in my account and now RS.68000 , i again credited to 70K. Will this shortfall affect my visa process ? Help me to sort out this problem

Are you applying for a visa?

Is your fiance on a dependent visa?? Your post isn't clear.

Ya we are going to apply for visa by the month of May and my fiance is working in london for past 3yrs under dependent visa. I was maintaining bank balance of £863 (rs. 70000) for last 60 days, unfortunately I had a shortfall in my bank account by last week but i paid the debited money in some minutes, will this shortfall affect my visa clearance ? I'm confused :? whats is the minimum balance i should maintain ?

Can you clarify what UK immigration Status both of you have?
Who is the applicant? That is, who will be applying for what category of visa?
Before or after marriage?
Where is the applicant?
Where is the sponsor?

Note that a dependant cannot be a sponsor.

I'm the applicant from India, my fiance is in Uk he holds "work visa" and he is the sponsor for me.
Planning to apply dependent visa after marriage (i.e.in the month May) for me.
I had a shortfall in my bank account which i was maintaining for last 60 days. Will this shortfall affect my visa clearance

Either of you need to maintain £630 for 90 days. It must not fall below that, even for a day.
