Secondment visa UK

Hi all!

I am in a difficult position because I will be seconded to a company in the UK and I do not know what visa should I request.

I work in a law firm and will be seconded for 6 months at a client in the UK (obvious, but worth mentioning that I do not hold any EU passport). In practice, I will be assisting the client directly at its offices in the UK, but I will not receive the salary from him but from my company in the country of origin. I will not have any contract with the client but my law firm (for the terms of the secondment).

I do not know which visa I should apply for. Before there was the Business visitor visa, which I think does not exist anymore?

I am inclining myself to the Tier 2 (General), but I noticed that there are certain requirements such as certificate from sponsor, english requirement, etc.

Could you please let me know your thoughts on what is the best visa to request for my situation?
