UKVI helpline a rip off?

Post by AES90 » Thu Apr 06, 2017 3:21 pm

Has anyone had a bad experience with the UKVI helpline? They charge per minute to talk to an advisor who really doesn't say much information and refuses to check the status as it is too early. Inconsistent knowledge between call centre attendees which is annoying.

Anyway -has anyone ever managed to status check via the phone number or is it better to do it via the status check form (does this really take 1 working day?)

They are well known for providing incorrect advice. We do not need a topic on this which will become unmanageable.

You only applied on 1st April, give it time.
