Reenter for holiday on T2

Post by sshastri » Thu Apr 06, 2017 5:39 pm

Hi,

I need immediate advise please.
I have a valid BRP till Jul-18. I am on Tier2 ICT Visa. I am employed by an Indian company and was deputed to work in the UK from Jun-16 to Jun-18.

I however had to return to India in Feb-17 as my project ended. I am employed with the same company and with the same client as of now. On returning my organization asked me to fill an internal form which states which date I left the UK and when I landed in India.

I would now like to visit UK for personal reasons this month? Will this be allowed or does my visa stand cancelled?

If the purpose of your visit is personal then you need to get Visitor Visa.
Don't ruin your immigration record with unnecessary complications.

Your company will use your exit date to calculate tax, etc. so it will be recorded in HMRC, Immigration, etc. records... So y take risks?
My advice is based on personal research/experience, so pls check relevant UKVI sources.

Thank you for the advice.
I am checking with my company if they did report my return to the immigration office.

If your purpose is to visit, then they may refuse you entry under Tier 2 (ICT) or later treat you as an illegal entrant using deception.
