Help needed please regarding British Citizenship

I have applied for British Citizenship on 20th January 2017 till now a decision has not been made.I am gettin very worried as those who have applied in Jan have had their approvals.my concern is i had a company in which went through liquidation and proceeded with a winding up petition at the court which got approved and company is dissolved i then went through an IVA and paying debts off monthly,i have enclosed all this with the application,will this have an effect on my application?

Appreciate your kind advise regarding this matter

Some members have waited for over a year for the outcome.

An IVA is registered on the Insolvency Register and HO do check this as part of the good character requirement.

Nothing you can do but wait.

A company is liquidated not an individual. An individual is declared invosolvent. Also depends on what type of business it was (ie LLP, sole trader) etc.

How long have you been under the IVA?

At least you had the foresight to declare it and send all the documents, which might work in your favour.

It was a LTD company ,hopefully in July 2017 my IVA will be complete.i have stated all this on a covering letter stating my company went into liquidation in 2010 ,and in 2011 i applied for IVA .
