Change of Tier 2 Sponsor & applying visitor visa for mother

Post by shubhamchowdhury1 » Tue Apr 18, 2017 11:17 am

Hi All,

This board has been extremely helpful in giving me insights in some of the things, so thank you and this is my first query here .

I have changed my Tier 2 sponsors on 13th March 2017 (Valid until Nov 2018 and then I will be applying for ILR) but I only start working with them on 25th April 2017. In the meanwhile, I am applying for my mother to visit me on a 6 monthly visitor visa and her appointment is on 24th April, and I start with my new employer on 25th April, so in reality I am employed with my current workplace until 24th April anyway. Is this going to cause any issues or am I overthinking ? She has visited me once before as well.
Experts please help with some input

So, the question is to keep things easy and simple with accommodation details and payslips and other things, i am thinking not to mention about this change of sponsor on my permit. Is that a good idea ? My mother is paying her own trip and only staying with us. In my new job obviously I wont have any payslips to submit, the addresses will take a bit to get updated as well , so is it ok if I just keep everything to my current employer and current address (which is a house I own and have the land registry paper) .

Many thanks for your time

You are overthinking.

You need to explain this in a covering letter as presumably you have a new BRP which you will submit as supporting evidence and this is linked to your NEW sponsor as the other would have been cancelled. Always remember, that HO have all your information at a touch of a button, so best not to withhold anything.

Don't forget your mother has to submit a lot of documents to prove her social, family and financial ties to home country.

Thank you for answering . My worry is that on the online application form I have shown my home address as the address where she will be staying as I was trying to not make things complex ( which I may have anyway!) .

Is it not easy to just stick to my current employment details and keep it as it is or with the new BRP details that I will be submitting might make things worse ?

Not sure what I should do as I'm currently shifting places so lot of things like Change of address etc is in process
