When to apply ILR for Tier 2 dependant

Hi all, I have a query about the ILR application on Tier 2 General - 5 years route and PBS dependant wife who joined him after 2.5 months. I came across this document with clause 4.3 and 4.4 from the https://www.gov.uk/government/uploads/s ... _final.pdf document. Main applicant came to UK in October 2010 with Tier 2 ICT visa then changed to Tier 2 General visa in September 2012. Wife was on dependent visa till August 2012 and went back to India. Then wife came to UK again in mid of November 2012 with Tier 2 general dependant visa. Now both of their visa is valid till August 2018. My queries are:
1. Main applicant will apply ILR in August 2017, can wife continue with Tier 2 dependant visa till October 2017 and apply ILR? If no,
2. As wife was in UK till August 2012 and then came back in November 2012 with a new visa will her stay in UK be considered as continuous stay in UK for 5 years and apply for ILR with husband in August 2017?

On what date did she APPLY for the Tier 2 General dependent visa and on what date did she ENTER the UK on this visa?

Hi CR001, sorry it took me sometime to get the exact details. Here are the details:

ICT visa expire date 14 August 2012. She left UK on 01st August 2012.
Appointment date for Tier 2 dependant visa from India was 10 October 2012, entry date in UK with Tier 2 dependant visa was 30th October 2012.

I am actually not sure if applying outside the UK for a new entry clearance has reset her clock to zero and a 5 year route to ILR. Will have to dig around for some information unless someone else knows for definite.

Thanks, CR001. I have tried to find the answer in some of the UKBA documents but couldn't find one.
